  Looks like no chance of a payout now as this company is limited and company status is Proposal to Strike off. First notice of intention to dissolve company published in London Gazette 4th August 2009.

  Same story for me, I collected unsold goods mid June and I'm still waiting for a cheque for the items they sold. The door has been locked for alomst 2 weeks now with a notice that it is due to bereavement. There is a mobile number on the notice but it just rings out and has no answer service. I wish I had read these reviews before I went there!

• ^ (NO STAR) AVOID THIS SHOP

  Similar story. They took a number of my mum's outfits in over three months ago, sold two and owe her £140. Delays in paying include being told payments are made at the end of the following month; an appointment has to be made with the owner; a cheque will be sent in the post; all of which will never happen. The lady in the shop never has any money in the till. TRADING STANDARDS ARE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE GO TO THIS SHOP.

• Complete Cowboys!

  This is the most unprofessional, shark like dress agency you will ever deal with. They are cowboys! They took my mum's £700 mother of the bride outfit in over 2 months ago, sold it for £200 and my mum is still waiting for her £100. My mum has called about 10 times only to be put off time and time again. My dad has been in twice, again, only to be put off by the lady in the shop (not the owner). The owner is from Liverpool and has mysteriously fallen off the face of the earth now some money is owed and the lady working in the shop said there is a list longer than both of her arms of people that Jo-Jangles owe money too. Complete con-artist and wouldn't even dream of doing business with them.
