  A group of us go to Rooney an Moos every week - we all love it there!! It's perfect for pre-school kids and definitely the cheapest around by far!

• Had a great party at Rooney and Moos!!

  I booked a private hire party for my daughters 5th birthday party on 3rd January and had a great time. Staff were great and worked so hard throughout our party :-) Can't recommend this place enough!! Thanks girls Mollie and Issy's mum

• Birthday party at Rooney and Moos- never again!!!!

  My daughter's birthday party booked at Rooney and Moos turned out to be a total disaster after the staff failed to show and open up on time! It had snowed the night before, but all the 15 children invited with their parents, including ourselves, made it there without any problem, only to find the place locked up, with no sign of life. The only number we had was the landline and there was no answer. After 15 minutes of waiting outside with a group of 3 and 4 year olds dressed for the party inside rather than the play in the snow, feeling totally embarrassed and not knowingh what to say to their parents, one of the employees turned up without a key saying that someone who had the key was on their way! About 30 min into the 'party' the owner/ manager appeared blaming the snow for her late arrival! Once we were finally inside, the kids ran off to play and we asked the owner for complimentary tea and coffee for the parents, which to us seemed like the least they could do to smooth things up, however the owner said the could not do that as it was a business after all!!!! Instead she offered us to stay a bit longer to make up the time! To make things even worse, there was no music to cheer everyone up ( a week before Christmas), and for dessert they didn't have jelly , only ice-cream, which some of the children couldn't have due to their special dietary needs. We did stay a bit longer ' to make up the time' , but the kids and the parents were getting bored. You can only party so long in the place with no music, no party atmosphere and the owner that couldn't care less. Don't book a party there, it's a rip off!!!
