    Although security conscious, my mother and I only had the usual door locks that we always used when in the house. We had considered a burglar alarm in the past but because a) nobody takes any notice. b) it would only annoy our neighbours, never had one fitted. We did reconsider as my mother is now left on her own for days at a time, but never found one that was "user friendly" However, after I heard about the Safe & Secure system we agreed to have one fitted and it is fantastic. It is a wireless system so only took 2 hrs to fit and did not damage any of the decor. We operate it by a key fob thing that is so simple. It is fully monitored by real people which means someone will immediately be talking to us through their equipment, or calling emergency services/key holders if there was a burglary or fire or emergency. They said that there would be no call out charges and all we have to do is call our local contact. When it started beeping to say there was a low battery, it was fixed within half a day and no charge. A really caring company who looks after the customer, I recommend them to anyone and the prices are typical for a quality system Yours faithfully G. Nelson
