When a tree is cut down to ground level or just above, a “tree stump" is left behind, which is unsightly, prevents other planting and can start disease. Nothing else can grow and shoots from the still living root system can sprout again.
The most common way to remove tree stumps is to grind them out below ground level - this is Tree Stump Removal.
The grinding out can be done when the tree is first cut down or later. We use special tree stump grinding machinery which comes in a variety of sizes, depending on the size of the tree, how deep the tree stump is and the type of access to the tree stump for the grinding machinery.
Our drainage solutions help alleviate blockages and water logging in gardens by redistributing excess water using one of the following:
Soak ways comprise a porous pipe inserted into the ground by digging down to the required depth. Gravel and soil are laid on top of the pipe, allowing surplus water to filter through the gravel to the pipe where it is evenly dispersed.
This guy is a cowboy! I paid this company £2500 to provide land drainage and lay a 100 sqm lawn. He laid the turf on a 2 inch thick sand base with no top soil and cheap turf. He has refused to rectify the job and other companies have commented on how shoddy the workmanship is. I'd urge people to look elsewhere in order to avoid being ripped off by him.
